About Saul…
Saul started writing around 2017 and 2018 mostly as a way of making sense of the world around him. He started sharing his words with strangers, and was amazed that people liked his work and encouraged him to write more.
Since then he has written over 200 articles, podcast episodes, and even help ghost write a book; covering a range of topics from geopolitics, to history, to science, to art; and, after gaining over a couple of million reads, figured he should try and take this stuff a tad more seriously.

Political Bias
No one would believe you if you say you have no bias. So we won’t. Realpolitik’s articles on politics and history reflect, however, Saul’s OCD. He has a innate urge to be accurate, bordering on the compulsive, which leaves him literally incapable of NOT including two sides of an argument, pointing out doubt where it exists, and fact checking his claims.
This results in articles that always contain a plethora of links and footnotes. The intention is to ‘show your workings out’; applying a standard practice in mathematics to prose. It seems to work…
A sense of humour…
Any work that appears on Imgur, while often covering serious subjects, WILL retain and display a strong sense of humour. That is about understanding the core demographic of the readership on that site really. But humour remains an element in much of what is written.
Future projects
There are a plethora of future projects on the cards, including more YouTube content, finishing the book and hopefully starting a new one soon after and more.
